Main One Renews Commitment to Broadband Penetration
Determined to adequately service the huge market potential in Nigeria and its neighbouring countries, Main One Cable, Nigeria’s premier private submarine cable company, has started expanding its infrastructure to enable people in other parts of the country access its services.
The Chief Executive Officer of Main One Cable, Funke Opeke, who made the disclosure recently explained that the investment became imperative in view of the increasing demand the firm is recording on a daily basis.
According to her, many people have discovered the need for better access to the internet at a very fast and cheap rate and they also want to be able to use new kinds of applications, as well as access different types of content. "People know they want better access to the internet. They want it faster, cheaper, and they want to be able to drive new kinds of applications, access different types of content," she says.
