Main One Cable is a private sector-led initiative owned by Main One Cable Company Mauritius. The company draws funding from private equity investors in Nigeria and Ghana, and has been supported with debt by development finance institutions from within the African continent and beyond. The company was founded by Main Street Technologies and is wholly owned by African investors.
