- Main One brings the cost of international bandwidth to levels that are globally competitive; currently international calls to London and New York are now cheaper that calls within Lagos to other networks because the operators are enjoying Main One’s lower costs of wholesale international bandwidth capacity.
- Since commencing commercial operations in July 2010, Main One has provided Africa’s much needed international transmission capacity at several multiples of what was previously available on the West Coast of Africa.
